Yes Andrew was correct. They do make allowances for people with special needs. They gave me a ride in a cart down to the pit area. Back in 2007 after knee surgery. All you need to do is ask. They are great people. Enjoy.
You certainly can if you enter through the tunnel, but not from the main grandstands.
