My wife is just getting her social security check and here gross is $1,863.00 per month and my gross is $835.00 per month and I though I was suppose to get at least half of hers which is 931.50 per month. How do I apply for the difference.

The social security administration doesn't answer questions here. You will have to call the toll free number or go to your local SSA branch to speak to an official SSA employee.
