They do not repair at the retail store, but they do at the nearby repair shop.
While we don't repair directly at our store in Concord Mills, the Lionel Customer Service center is not too far from us. You may reach them at 800.454.6635. We also recommend locally the Little Choo Choo shop as they offer repairs as well.
