This depends on what you're looking to do with your layout. For many customers it is most reasonable to purchase a Ready-to-Run kit (starter set) that includes a train, track, power, and control. Some customers looking to build larger layouts may find it easier to purchase items on an individual level. Ready-to-Run kits have the best value compared to purchasing individually though.

Yes but don't get excited. Very little in there, but trains and some Nascar. But it's stuff nobody wants or damaged pieces they repaired . Better off going to there website and ordering.

Lionel does not make G Scale product anymore. They have a plastic battery powered line called Ready to Play but it is not the same as "G" scale.
