Why isn't this park open on weekdays? This is like the county park at Kiawah. The public should have first use of these tremendous assets.

This isnt a public park like Kiawah or Edisto park, this is a Wildlife Management Area. It is staffed by volunteers. I remember when this was privately owned and the more public that uses it, the more trashed it becomes.

During deer season its closed. Check the website for special hunt days.

Contact the SC DNR for more information on this. It's probably due to the lack of staffing available.
