No, you just have to fillout a information card, listen to a narrative of the place and hang a place card in your window.
No cost to get in, just check in at the gate. Very much worth the trip!! The plantation is closed on Tuesdays for hunting. You might need to check the SCDNR website to be sure hunting dates are not extended depending on the season.
