Can a wife (non military person) cremations be buried with her veteran husband? Even if they don't pass away at the same time? Who pays for the head stone and burial? Thanks, Sandee

The answer is yes, you can. The head stone and burial are included at no charge but there is a California State Burial Fee of $8.50.

My wife's grandparents cremains were burried at the same time despite passing 2 years apart, however we held on to her grandmother's till her grandfather passed to make sure they could be burried together.
