Yes you need to have a medical card and I believe you have to be a resident of Massachusetts.
You must be a resident in Ma. You also need a Ma. MMJ card. Ma. Does not currently accept out of state MMJ cards.
the only thing you can do is live in mass and get a med card , no rec stores are open as of 10/3/2018, it will be a while till they are. also weed is still not legal in ct , so not exactly a good idea to come buy a bunch of weed here and trying to bring it back home.

Yes you do need a card but,, Massachusetts does not accept out of state cards,, only six states do,,Arizona, Maine, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, and Rhode island,,and only Nevada and Rhode island allow purchase with an out of state card..
