I had to transfer from Eversource when I moved. This experience was TERRIBLE. I had to keep calling for 72 hours to begin service. Then rep calls back at 9 am on my day off. I call back they tell me I have to wait until Monday to get another call back. Partner with Eversource. They have all the skills your company needs. Their website is more user friendly and their customer service is EXCELLENT.

Customer service? National Grid will not even answer their telephones! This is the damage that one of their trucks inflicted upon the end of my driveway, when one of their drivers apparently could not read the sign that says NO TRUCK TURN AROUND. A follow-up: It took several phone calls, but National Grid repaired the damage that had been done to my driveway. In the end, they did the right thing.

1. I have to wait 30min to 1hr every time to call, They always lie with they have high call volume, no matter what time to call. 2. Gas and electricity are still separated after more than 10 years of merging. 3. Their website is like last century technology. It is hard to register and do any thing

Dear National Grid, If I could give you no stars I would. Paying my bill with you is harder than with any company I have ever dealt with. Please consider joining all other companies in allowing smartphone payments through your paperless email bill. I recognize that this is not some great hardship as customer. However, in an economy that rewards more efficient companies with better quality services, outdated/underperforming web design should reflect negatively on your bottom line. Fortunately for you, since utilities operate as sole providers over large areas, you have no motivation to improve! The bill I received suggests using acrobat to pay my bill with a bank account. I can confirm this does not work. Though I do appreciate the extra step before being disappointed. Spending money on bills is always unpleasant. National grid works hard to make it even worse. Thanks guys!
