Used haven a few times for jewelry, small piercings in the past. They have amazing jewelry available and friendly knowledgeable staff. Booked today and got a more serious piercing. I have to say the staff are amazing. The front desk was super busy and the staff member held it all down with grace even helped me pick out a proper jewelry size for my piercing.it was nice to have options and one matched my current jewelry perfect. We wore our masks which made it much more safe for all involved. It was clean as always, comfortable and it’s nice to know the experts here really know there stuff regarding tattoos and piercings. They love their jobs and are passionate about helping you if your new ti piercings or just there for your next one. I’ve had piercings ate other shops before Haven and none are as consistent, thorough, and thoughtful. I was nervous to arrive for my piercing today it’s a big commitment, upon arrival I was comfortable while checking in and through the whole appointment. I felt so comfortable having Penelope do a set of piercings for me and now I’ll be sure to come back, after all I have plenty of space left for more piercings! It was as painless as possible for a piercing and you can grab aftercare products right from the counter at check out. I loved the online booking and the ability to sign most of my forms all remotely before the moment of the appointment. Haven is always great to me and I’m always impressed with their help and services here, they really see the best in the valley maybe even best in the world! So thankful for my piercing it’s a huge confidence boost for me to see my new piercings! They are they place to go with piercing questions book a consult if you need help or go get that piercing you always wanted! Like four of my family members even my dad and sister have been here! This review is very long overdue but I just remembered my experience and thought I should share it. In February of this year I booked an appointment over the phone for a septum piercing. On the phone, the person booking my appointment was supposedly new at the time, but also failed to inform me of the covid-vaccine card mandate, which is extremely specific to the piercing I wanted to receive. Not only did I not have a vaccine card on hand, I did not even know that this was going to be an issue as again, the person on the phone did not inform me. It was not in the contract I signed, nor was it pinned ANYWHERE on their website or social media at the time of the appointment setting. I was only informed once I drove over an hour to get there, in the main lobby, where they told me I could “get the vaccine/card and then reschedule my appointment with them”. I understand the vaccine mandate and don’t have an issue with that, but what really upset me was that they refused to refund my $35 deposit. I sent multiple emails to the “owner” about this situation and I don’t believe I ever received any emails from them offering a refund on my deposit, or even an apology for the confusion. I was very disappointed that day, and wished I could’ve left with that piercing and a great review.

It depends on what you are asking about... most piercings, it’s 13 with parental consent and proper ID. Tattoos there is NO parental consent, so it’s 18 with proper ID. ID requirements can be found on the website www.havenbodyarts.com

Each artist will discuss their policies with you when you are tattooed... I would like to say usually, though it does depend on the location of the tattoo & how long ago it was done. But as I mentioned earlier, your artist always will discuss their policy with you when you are tattooed, or you can e-mail them to discuss. Hi Jenza, this is Penelope I own Haven body arts and have been piercing professionally in the valley for 24 years . We do call them single point piercing. To help ensure our Board of Health realizes that these are piercings and not implants. Massachusetts because it’s a common wealth does not have a standard regulation on this, it was left up to the individual cities and towns to regulate. We absolutely do them in Northampton at Haven. The cost is the piercing price Plus whatever jewelry you choose . It is difficult to tell you how much it will come to because we have well over 500 choices of jewelry. Your piercing could come to $70 or $450 if you were to choose white gold & a genuine diamond ;) we suggest coming in, and we will explain all costs as well as jewelry choices and help you find something in your budget. All Piercer’s on staff at HBA are members of The Association of professional piercers (APP) and work within the highest levels of health & safety around.

They use piercing needles. They don't use earrings posts with the backing like that.
There is no parental consent for nipple piercings so you must be 18 years old with a state issued photo ID
We do not pierce with outside jewelry so we can ensure the proper style, size and metal quality.

There is no parental consent for tattooing in Northampton. To our knowledge nowhere will tattoo at that age with parental consent. Though at 13 you can get most piercings with parental consent. What you need for IDs for piercings can be found on our website. Thank you.
