There are some motels about 2 to 3 miles away but you may have to drive 10 to the hotels and inns!
There are motels at i75 exits on st rds 40, 27, and 200. Also at silver springs which is only 3 miles from the fort. The ones on hwy 40 at silver springs are the easiest to git to the fort from. The fort is on fort king street between se 39th ave and 41 ave on the n side of ft king. You can't miss it. The fort stands out quite well. From silver springs come south at the traffic light to the 2nd light. That is fort king st. Turn right and drive untill you see the fort on the right.
Yes as stated...lots of non chain Motels that are close to Fort on Silver Springs Blvd that I would never stay at with my family. I recommend you look into accommodations in chain hotels by I75.

Lots of road side places and a few hotels seem nice. We stay un the state park camping.
