If this question was asked about a private business it would have been answered already. You can see by number of answers to questions about Masshealth that government is much better at making noise than getting anything productive done.

50k a year if self-employed, however you SHOULD CLAIM THE ANNUAL USA POVERTY RATE IN ORDER TO GET THE LOWEST COST PREMIUM. getting a private plan thru health connector is quite expensive (tufts single person premium of 340 a month, and hardly anything off copayments, when i was claiming 50k made a year) TIP: round down. subtract the taxes from your wages as well - basically using the gross wages from your last tax return-- the question here should be the WHATS THE MINIMUM... BECAUSE the higher your wages, the more expensive the plan. RE: MASSHEALTH: if your unemployed- or otherwise need to get a MASSHEALTH plans due to a lack of income on paper, YOU MUST WRITE ZERO DOLLARS where it asks how much u plan on making this coming year. this will render 0% of annual poverty rate: and your insurance will be free as well as copayments, dentist, prescriptions etc. Always contact health connector RE billing rather than the insurance company if you have a private plan.
