There is no over night parking ( between 1 and 7am for any longer than 2 hours) Vehicle must also be actively registered and legally parked.
Currently, if you park longer than 2 hours between 1 and 7 a.m., they can ticket you.
So, in my neighborhood, ( garden city), there are new people moving in and completely ignore this. There are more and more cars parked in the street every night. Why aren’t the being ticketed? If they were, they probably wouldn’t do it anymore. But, since the police don’t seem to be paying attention, they just keep doing it. Pretty soon it will look like Providence! What else do the overnight officers have to do? You can’t patrol neiborhoods and rocket these vehicles?? Some are on reservoir ave right out in the open. Yet every morning the sane cars in the same places continue to break the law and getting away with it. What are we paying for???
