Spent the weekend. Food was decent. Even had a window in my cell. 20% of the correctional officers are a bit grumpy and on a power trip but most of them are professional about their jobs. Respect goes a long way if you ever have to visit this place.

The medium security building is filled with disrespectful correctional officers. There was one nice one that did the security check but besides that I was mortified with the abuse these inmates receive from the correctional officers. A correctional officer “Smith” yelled at a poor older visitor who had a thick accent. Smith yelled at the visitor for giving the officer the wrong name when clearly the CO didn’t hear him correctly. Smith was yelling can you not read?! What’s wrong with you? You never learned to read? The whole room went silent the poor old man looked so embarrassed. Correctional officers at the intake service center were kind but at medium they seemed to all have power control issues. No wonder recidivism is so high with the abuse these inmates endure.
