Incredibly unsafe. While I was there multiple people [myself included] were given another persons medication. People in detox for alcohol are not properly medicated or cared for. 2 women had seizures while I was there. The staff is incompetent and nurses should have licenses revoked.
I was a patient just last week.. I had to early discharge with several patients because my blood pressure was 150/134 (?!). I overheard a discussion that someone had died that night. I have PTSD so I had to investigate. I approached a hostile Nurse Practitioner who told me the rumor was false. Shortly after this interaction we had to attend a mandatory Group - "Compliance" to the program like don't ask questions. I advised clients to deliver suggestions to the DMH suggestion box just in case they were having problems doing laundry,etc.. self-care!
