Alot of the staff will understand what you're going through, they do the best that they can to help you out. But there will at least be one who couldn't be bothered to help you. They would much rather tell you to leave the facility than provide assistance. That individual has no right to be in the medical field. But unfortunately that's what we addict's have to endure. Stay strong!

The Dr's take more than 30 min to call you but how convenient that they have a time limit of 10 minutes if you late more than 10 your appt will be reschedule but they can take for ever BAD SERVICE.

When I have therapy sessions it's always in a different room. It's a fake hospital

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at detox. The food is most times inedible, there were people withdrawing from alcohol that they weren't medicating, they wouldn't even give these people straws to drink water even though they couldn't hold a cup without spilling water all over because of the convulsions. The staff gave multiple people, myself included, the wrong medication, along with dispensing a medication to be taken 3x a day at 0900, 1300, and 1700, so I was going into extended withdrawal simply because they weren't following doctors orders. The staff doesnt care in the slightest about their job. They would randomly write out vitals for us without taking them. This place should be shut down. They also called the police to break into my apartment because on countless occasions I told them I work from 0600-1700 and because I didn't answer, even though I called back after work, they called in a welfare check on me where the police broke into my apartment and left the window broken and open and my cat ran away. All because I was at work. I had to call my doctor 13 times in 5 days because they never sent in my medication. Do not trust these people.

Incredibly unsafe. While I was there multiple people [myself included] were given another persons medication. People in detox for alcohol are not properly medicated or cared for. 2 women had seizures while I was there. The staff is incompetent and nurses should have licenses revoked.
@latonia exactly!!! Im in long term recovery and have been "sectioned" in the past. Unfortunately research shows that coerced (being forced) into treatment doesnt work long term.....and forcing abstinence from opioids put people at a high risk of relapse/overdose/death. Check the facts. MAT, harm reduction, and community based supports are what are helping people to recover on their own timeline.
