Tara as a consumer direct or pca? Consumer direct is where you don't need a certificate and you can take care of anyone... A friend, family or whoever and they also have a book you can look through and pick whoever you want and then it's up to you to call them and meet with them and they will be your boss but u get paid through the agency and as pca you can get your certificate through the agency... You can apply online or at the office... Home helpers is the best agency around in my opinion... They will work with you and your schedule if you wanted to be a pca.(personal care aide)
Just go and ask for a list of the ppl looking for help at home you call them and sign the paper work and have all your immunizations records and a physical and a ttb test done and your set to go as long as the client hires you
