Why dosen't Salt Grass give Deserts to customers on their birthday celebration? money is well spent there I was told by a waitress that they unfortunately doesn't.

Sorry, don't know about the birthday issue, but i never knew they charged for take-out. That will be the one and only time i will ever go to that restaurant

We try to provide the best customer service we can while still adhering to standards set by corporate. We do not make the decisions on whether we can allow free desserts or not. However, if you sign up for an LSC (Landry's Select Club) membership you will receive $25 for every 250 points you receive as well as $25 to spend on your birthday or anniversary, whichever date you choose. There's always specials and rewards for our club members :)

Well, I've been to many upscale restaurants on different ones birthdays and they proudly do so, customer satisfactions I just won't take anyone else there for birthdays.

Sadly it seems like a recent change. I remember only a couple years ago getting a free dessert from here on my birthday week. I assume it's to keep prices competitive instead of raising prices by a large margin how some other places have.
