You get a voucher, and if you stamp it on the way out the fee is waived.
Free parking for restaurant patrons
Free if eating at restaurant
I don't recommend it at all. To start our waiter was very rude, food cold not worth what we paid. It was my first and last time there.
The publiclots are $1.00 per hour. Up front. Make sure you get back to your vehicle before time runs out. Lot. Is up the street maybe 10 buildings
Yes parking is free behind restaurant when dining. I suggest, as we always do, try to go '' off'' hours. You know like maybe in between lunch and dinner or early lunch. We seldom have a problem with this technique.
If you are going to take more than 2 hours, which is very possible since this is not a quick in and out restaurant, park at the visitors center and enjoy the experience. I would suggest that you make a reservation because if you do not you may not get seated, this a very popular place. To your question, I have not paid for parking at the visitor center because handicap parking is free, otherwise I think parking is $15. Word to the wise, they do check that the handicap sticker/hanger do belong to you or a person with you in the vehicle.
Park behind the restaurant. Get your ticket stamped after your meal for two hours free.
$10 for 4 hours for the closest parking to the restaurant.
Parking is free when dining, the lot is behind the restaurant.
