All dogs must participate in a Temperament evaluation which will determine the best group for them to be in. In general we separate by size and then play style, so we may have multiple small groups and multiple big dog groups during the day. Mr. Rogers stated that we put his big pit in with small dogs, but K9 Kampus is unable to accept full bred pit bulls in the facility because of insurance restrictions and a 9 month old pit bull would be too large to put in a small dog play group. We suggest you you come in for a tour and view the facility and the play groups.
Actually my dog is a big dog..pit.. and they mixed as a puppy. About 9 months old with the small dogs
They do an awesome job. I have never seen a small breed mixed with the larger dogs.
It all depends on the dog. There are at least two separate parks everyday - big dogs and little dogs - but there are some big dogs that do best in the little park and some little dogs that do best in the big park. During their temperament evaluation they try to find where they fit best.
