How tough is the paddle upstream through emeralds cut?? Although I've never been to kings landing, I do have paddle experience. My gf is new to it and this will be her first trip in a kayak

No dificult D shallow and only one hour going up. Good look.

I'm a novice and was able to paddle upstream in both directions. The only time it became tricky was when you have to navigate past others coming from the other direction.

Might have to get out & carry ? Not sure where THAT cut is , but still alot of tree blockage , worst case .....
