Weekends 1/2 hour before the open, weekdays 5-10 minutes will suffice. If bringing your own kayak/canoe, the circle drive will allow drop off of vessel & gear, so you don't have your hands full walking from parking area.

Go first thing in the morning. We just got back from there with the plans to go to Rock springs an Wikiva springs but Rock is still closed an Wikiva was closed due to bacteria. Luckily Kings Landing is opening an swimming is allowed. So get there first thing when they open an your guaranteed to get in. Thats ur best bet since the other 2 swimming springs are closed. We got there right after opening an it wasnt full any of the times. We also arrived one day around 11-12 an it was much busier but we still were able to gain access. I recommend packing a cooler with some drinks an snacks and a lunch an goin when they open an just go canoeing until you work up a sweat then hop in the water for a swim. You can canoe back to entrance an let the guys/girls working know you just wanna go to your car to get drinks an food an come back an they will hold your canoe for you until your back. That way you dont gotta leave an pay 40 bucks more then once.

Show up 5 minutes before they open. Thats your best shot. It's going to fill up. Luckily its kind of light traffic with everything going on.
