Loud may not be the right word, but the acoustics are such that it is difficult to have a conversation with someone across the table from you or not next to you.
I love Ciao Bella, but that is one thing I don't really like... It's loud and if you're not sitting right next to the person who is talking it is difficult to hear entire conversations. Go in the summer when their patio is open and then it's not a problem.
The side room is quieter than the main room. Bit loud but not crazy.
In the summer, if you are on the patio, it's more quiet. But the dining room is loud.
