My wife and I had the same experience. Even worse they had us kicked out the hospital. Making us leave our dying son behind. No sense in requesting help. From the Vice president Jeffrey Langdon himself nobody at that evil hospital could care less about you.
Please see the patient advocate. If you feel you were treated badly it's your responsibility to make it known so that these patterns can be identified. You are probably not the first but maybe you can be the last
I'm a year late to this discussion, but I can't disagree more. Everyone we have ever come in contact with at Duke has been exceedingly polite and friendly. I openly admit that I don't know the details, but it makes me wonder if you didn't do something to cause the disturbance. My apologies if you didn't.
My son was in ICU, I have to be honest I never seen a team of doctors and nurses work so good together
Duke is exceptional. Best hospital in the state hands down
If this happens to anyone please contact patient and visitor relations to get it all properly sorted out.
I don’t know the facts of your experience, what I know in fact, is that the health care professionals usually are unappreciated and unvalued for her hard work and dedication. They work long hours, under a lot of stress and dedication, even sacrificing their own and family well being, to take care of others, just few times they get a “thank you”, but instead a lot of complains in reward to the noble labor at the community.
What in the world was happening that police would be called???
Probably because they are a none profit Hospital, and Donate money to the police I bet.
I am sorry to hear that. I hope you can go to another hospital in the area and get good care
Soooooo truuuuuuuu
