Hi Michelle, Martin's Meats uses its extra supplies to make food for the local homeless population. The food may not always be as enticing as some of their other offerings, but it's never unhealthy. They are making sandwiches for needy individuals rather than sending perfectly good food to the landfill. Food that is unsafe or unhealthy for paying customers is never used when crafting meals for the homeless. If Martin (the male owner of Martin's Meats) gets a tax write off for welcoming the downtrodden and giving what he can, he deserves it. If you'd like to donate to help Martin provide sandwiches to the local homeless population, please feel free to donate in store. Many other charitable organizations can use your support, too. If you have received support from Martin and are dissatisfied with the food, there are other organizations that can help with your food insecurity. Otherwise, Martin will continue to serve you if you come back without hesitation.
They are the best in town. Been getting meat baskets from them for over 10 years love the quality of the meat and wonderful customer service 😊

I love this place never ever have I had a bad experience . My aunt was doable and before she passed away the owner would deliver her monthly meat basket . These people are genuine and try to help who ever they can . The way that the world is now you don’t find to many people like them .
I'm a new customer to Martin's meat market. I only know they are kind and curious they've filled my order of Barbecue Tri-Tip,Ribs and chicken and it's cooked beautifully delicious and my family and I are happy customers and will continue to patronize their store, on 21st & Qst.
