Bonfires yes until 10 pm at Carmel beach, not sure about end times at any other beaches and wood can be bought at most gas stations, hardware stores and grocery stores lncluding walmarts..There are I believe 8 fixed round steel fire pits at carmel beach and competition is fierce lolol..
They have pots for bonfires setup on the south portion of the beach but I'm not sure where you can get wood I'm sure you can get some in Carmel Valley if not anywhere else
