Does iehp cover the glasses and frame? Or does it only cover the exam? I went to one and it only covered my exam and have to pay for my frame and glasses myself.

Hemet optometric center no longer takes IEHP as I was told after many years and yes they cover exam and eyewear up to $150

As of January of 2020, IEHP will cover an eye exam every 12 months, frames and Single Vision lenses or Lined Bifocal lenses every 24 months.

MEDI-CAL/IEHP only covers exams. Exception: they will cover lens IF a child medically needs them to see. I believe. Medi-cal used to cover the lens. But they've changed the coverage a few years ago. Hope that helps. You can call IEHP to make sure. They are really nice.
