Is the "Out of Stock" on your website accurate for in-store items?

IKEA usually has very good inventory control. Unlike most places, if they say it's out of stock, it's probably out of stock. You can call to request the date that it will be back in stock or, even order it over the phone

It's hit or miss. I tried to purchase a bed frame and specifically asked an ikea rep to check to see if the items were in stock because many other frames were marked as out of stock. The rep checked the system and said it was in stock so we purchased the item and scheduled delivery. A week later they delivered the frame without the slats. The store now claimed they weren't in stock.

It has been in my experience but I'd call just to make sure...
