Do you manage the elk and bison and if so is there a rotating schedule for them when they are close to the fence?

The elk & bison both came quickly to the fences when they saw people. They will lose interest a little quickly if you do not have carrots or apples. I will be bringing carrots next time

On my visit it appears the elk and bison roam freely in their enclosure. Visitors may bring carrots to feed the elk and that may attract then to come closer to the fence. However there is no schedule, that I am aware of, for them to be close to the fence.

Thanks for the replies. We had 15#s of carrots today but they were so far away we could not get either bison or elk to come to the fence. We will go again next week.
