Nice place. Very friendly and accommodating when we got stuck there for 9 days because of wind. They're doing a lot of upgrading and doing a nice job. We'll go back.
I'm not a local. I worked for nearly 8 months as a workcamper and opening a business in Idaho. I will never return to the desert now that I have deep roots here. My point is, I have no skin in the game with these guys operating Catalina. The General Manager Kevin has a sincere interest and cares about every single guest. This attitude carries into staff. They are the real deal.
