Considering how limited and expensive other range options are in the valley, this place works damn well for outside shooting. The road is old and decrepit but hey its offroad so its so be expected. Fired my first firearm here and was amazing Recommend however for new people 1.) Bring shoes, a good cap, tinted safety glasses, and hearing protection and get used to passing by people shooting. Never bring light footwear as you could get nicked on broken glass or rusty metal (please don’t leave so much trash and don’t shoot at rocks) 2.) Not for little cars. I made the mistake on my corolla so brought my Tundra truck instead. There are lots of rough spots so you need a higher lifted truck but a smaller car can work for certain sites. 3.) Bring a shade structure of some kind and honestly a few chairs and a small table. Tail gate set ups suck if you’re in the heat and even your gun starts getting hot from the sun alone 4.) Bring an ice chest and targets for a day of fun. Other than that a fun place to fire and let out a few shots on some targets and test out your gun!
