If you use there's and your in an accident they dont bill your primary insurance company. But if you use your personal and your in an accident your car company will get the bill your rates will go up and so on. Depending on your coverage you have you may need to pay out of pocket. Again it depends on what coverage you have. I personally just get there's and dont worry about it.
Just to clarify some things. If you have full coverage on your car you don't need any of their insurance. Then if you pay by credit card, most credit card companies will reimburse your deductible for an accident. Accidents go on the record of the driver and not the car so no matter what it would be on your record.
Don't know I use my own
