I got a great new car (2022) at a great price, much lower than any other rental agency. The gentleman working at the desk was friendly and helpful. The shuttle was fast and easy. Overall a great experience and I will rent from them again.

If you wish to add hassles to your travel plan make sure to rent from Economy. You can enjoy not one but two shuttle rides to actually get to their site since they are not located in the main rental building. But wait, did I mention at least 45 minutes of wait after the first shuttle ride? Enjoy the feeling of being ignored while you call them. Last but not the least, a hefty charge on your credit card for all the inconveniences will make your day.

If you use there's and your in an accident they dont bill your primary insurance company. But if you use your personal and your in an accident your car company will get the bill your rates will go up and so on. Depending on your coverage you have you may need to pay out of pocket. Again it depends on what coverage you have. I personally just get there's and dont worry about it.

Let them know that your flight gonna be delayed and make sure when you call they gonna write note about it because in busy days the rentals companies hold the reservation only 2 hours and if you need any help let me know because all the guys in economy rental cars by friends

For most companies, you'll take a shuttle to the rental car facility. It's one large parking garage-like building about 5 minutes from the airport terminals. There's a counter on the first floor where you check in for your rental before heading up an escalator to pick up your car. Enjoy your stay in San Diego!
the hold is $300 on a credit card and they do accept debit cards, but the hold is $800 for those
