Unless you are related or law enforcement, Federal law prohibits release of that info. However, if you call the main number of the hospital and ask specifically for a patient by name, they will attempt to connect you to that patients room if they have left the ER and been admitted to the hospital. Some times, because of the flu epidemic, there is a wait between ER and getting a room in the hospital. I understand that not knowing increases anxiety, but some times no news is no news good or bad.
They may not be able to give you any info
