I found an injured mockingbird Can I bring it in to the rescue for evaluation and if it’s not too bad can I bring the bird back and take care of her myself or will they make me surrender her

Yes definitely take it to Wildlife Rescue they are awesome and will help the Mockingbird I have taken quite a bit of injured wildlife to them

I would recommend you surrendering the mockingbird to them. Their vet staff is amazing and will be able to provide the best care and treatment for the bird. I believe though that you are allowed to pick the bird back up and take it back where you found it once its cured and ready to be released.

I don't think they'll make you surrender it but it takes alot more than you think to successfully raise a wild baby bird.
