besides the wildlife center which is quite far from me are there any other places to take injured wildlife - on the west coast of florida they have c.r.o.w. and wildlife can be taken to those locations - if there something like that here?

South Florida wildlife center is the best. Give them a call, they may have an ambulance driver in the area that can pickup the animal for you.

There are a few smaller rescues however you might have to call around to see who has space and can help with specific situations

There is another place in Coral Springs also. Not aure if that is any cloaer to you.
