I have a Laser and would like to transport it on a boat trailer I have purchased. The post that supports the winch is 2” x 2” and there is the typical hourglass shaped bumper. Do I need a different bumper or attachment device to secure the Laser?

The rubber bow stops often work if no part of the metal bracket rubs against fiberglass. Then you place it just under lip of boat. Use a rope or bungee to secure through handle.
