How much is it to adopt a dog or cat

Mine was $170.00 and well worth it.

It depends on size and age of the animal.

At the La Grande Animal Shelter, it cost me $170. When my husband and I adopted a dog from the same animal shelter 10 years ago, I am sure we only paid around $100. Also, I thik the cost of getting our dog neutered back then cost around $100. Now, the cost for this procedure has doubled. I think if these costs were lower, more people would be able to afford adopting a dog or a cat.
