Yes, open seasonally; however, many other great places to explore nearby. Try Slocum river reserve, it's online.
The State website is a poor source for info because they are slow to update. Call the number for Horseneck Beach to get some info, if they are inclined to answer that day. Demarest Lloyd closes in September but there in lies the beauty of it. You can walk in and appreciate the serenity of it without the hordes. Horseneck Beach is open no fee off season on daylight hours. Good Luck!
Hey Collette, great question! Demarest Lloyd closes Labor Day weekend for the season. It is only opened seasonally. There are other state parks near by as well as local hiking trails. Try Horseneck Reservation in Westport opened year round or if you want Dartmouth try any of the DNRT properties also all opened year round. I hope this helps Collette and welcome to MA!
