Beautiful sand bars, quiet beach spot without a lot of people. Easy to have a semi-private beach experience at this beautiful state park with tons of parking. Beach is a bit rocky, so go prepared with water shoes then walk to the left from the lot and you'll reach sandy areas. The sand in the water is so soft and clear.

I don't like it that they ticket you with giving you a chance to pay. My nephew got a ticket because it was his first time there and he didn't know. He was there probably less than an hour and already had a ticket. When he realized he had to pay he went back and had a ticket

My husband, disabled daughter and my niece and her toddler went today. It is not wheelchair accessible anymore. Half way down the paved walkway you encounter rocks and sand. In fact the whole length of the beach is covered with rocks. Not the same beach that I used to spend the whole day at when my kids were young. Very disappointed. We won't be returning.

it's $13 for Mass. residents. They usually don't enforce the parking fees after say 4:00 but the gate at the top of the road gets closed at 6:00. You can still go there after 6:00 you just have to walk
I take my dog everywhere except beaches do not allow them on the sand
There is limited parking, you can get a season pass. I think is 60 dollars or If you prefer is 12 dollar for a single visit
Its open to everybody if somebody told you that they were lying, Its a State Beach and a state park
I think so

Opens up memorial day weekend. Closes at six PM. daily. You can park outside the front gate when closed/locked and walk in anytime.
Yes, open seasonally; however, many other great places to explore nearby. Try Slocum river reserve, it's online.
