You just have to go there. Call them today and find out the information they need you to bring. They see people based on necessity so they will probably see you tomorrow. Be sure to get there at least one hour before they unlock the door or else you will be there all day. They can tell you what time the doors open when you call. Remember that the line starts early and there's usually a lot of people needing help. Also, there are usually people outside offering coffee, muffins, etc. to help you while you wait. Good luck.
The best thing to do as everyone has suggested is to go there in person. It is hard to get an appointment unless you go in person. There are a series of steps you must take. Normally, power bills with a turn off notice they will pay. Please, take your I D, social security card, proof of income if any, your lease and always have any monies you may be able to contribute. I pray you get the needed help but you must put forth the effort by going there. Be patient and pray. God knows your needs and he appreciates what you are doing for the child.. Don't become down hearted, keep your head up and smile! Love you.. Turtles!
No they make appointments in person you have to be there in the line at 7:45am the wait is really long and so are the lines so if you work you may need to call off. You may be there til 1 pm or later depending on your position in line.
