They dont help with deposits. Just help with your late electric bill that has been disconnected or recieved letter that they are going to disconnect it.
It depends on your circumstance. There are multiple funding sources; there is some formula they use for an amount alloted per household or per person. New funding starts in July. If Crisis is unable to help with deposits they can refer you to other places like urban ministries, independent living, council on aging or department of social services who can also help and have multipul resources to draw from. It may take more than one day at crisis if you dont get there by 8:00 a.m. Be sure you have all your documentations! ID, SSN# For all household members, proof of income, lease/rental agreement, copy of all bills w/ account numbers, late/cut off notice, eviction or court papers. Pack a lunch, bring something to read. Good luck!

I don't know if they assist with deposits. Usually they assist when they are off or threat of being disconnected.
