You will need some sort of official verification of the Social Security #. Because the tax return is entered by you, it wouldn't work. If you have a W2, or something else issued by the government, an employer, DSS, or such with the SS# on it, that can work. It is also possible her social is on file here if you have been here in the last 4 years. You may want to call and talk to someone in customer service about the specifics of your situation.
