The gators are not really around the camp beach, except at night or early in the morning. I do not recommend swimming west if the boat ramp close to the bridge. Gators on this side of the lake are mainly tucked away

The pools are great! It says swim at your own risk due to wildlife. We were just there last month and were told they haven't seen gators in years but there are lots of snakes. No one swam in the lake the 3 days we were there.
Pools are open and yes, guests can swim and tube in the lake.
