Firstly these answers aren't coming from GameSpot- 2nd they don't "fix" anything. Lastly the best but crappiest option is the best. Log onto your Sony account and choose repair - you'll have to mail it to them (no external stuff) and they'll fix it and get it back to you professionally and quickly. I'd not trust that repair to anyone local. Lastly anyone not certified working on it will void you're warranty.
