why do we have to prove citizenship when we've already had a valid license with the RMV for 30 plus year's? I understand the importance of making sure that people are valid citizens however, as valid citizens our license is our proof of citizenship.

Dont you have to prove citizenship to gain a valid drivers Id therefore yeah that doesnt make sense that you have to reprove citizenship to renew your license.also they said they already had a license so ...you need to reread the statement norm. But what do I know ....

It's simple. Trump & his office can't mandate it through the census so they're implementing it through the DMV & other means.

A licence does not mean you are a citizen you have to study then takd a test and if its alright then you go and state you wll aide by our laws and if you been here for 30 years you should have gone to become a citizen but you just lazy and think your here 30 amd not a citozen well am a 72 year citizen and i think you better go find a lawyer to find out how to become a citizen
