I always feel really taken care of at ESVH! The techs and doctors and even the front desk staff are so nice.

After our long time Vet retired we started using someone else who we have never been happy with. We were referred to East Springfield Veterinary Hospital and we have found our new Vet. They were responsive, professional and gave us more information than we could have ever asked for. Highly recommend them.

Not bad $60 for VET FEE. Very good doctors. Been going for over 10 years
Second chance offers income based charges. I'd try there or Dakin Humane Society
We are NOT an emergency vet facility and are not open 24 hours. If our hospitals are closed, below is a list of emergency facilities that we recommend and that are within one hour of our location. We do recommend you call ahead before you head out to ensure there isn’t a lengthy wait time and so the facility can be prepared for your arrival. Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital, South Deerfield, MA (413-665-4911) New England Veterinary Center and Cancer Care, Windsor, CT (860-688-8400) Foster Hospital for Small Animals (Tufts University), North Grafton, MA (508-839-5395) Pieper Veterinary, Middletown, CT (860-347-8387) VCA Veterinary CT Specialist, West Hartford, CT (860-236-3273)
We accept pet insurance. The company that we have found to be the easiest to understand and to talk to is Trupanion. We do accept VPI Pet Insurance as well.
East Springfield Veterinary Hospital is a progressive veterinary facility offering state-of-the-art digital x-ray.
We have a state-of-the-art dental facility. The dental procedure begins with an examination for the doctor to evaluate the level of dental disease. On a scale of 1-4, we are able to determine the severity of the case. We will perform digital dental x-rays the day of the procedure to let us know what is going on beneath the gum line. Once we have performed these diagnostics, we are well-equipped to execute a thorough and effective dental procedure. The dental procedure includes ultrasonic scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatment. Based on the severity of dental disease, the procedure may also include highly technical extractions.
No, we specialize in small animal care at East Springfield Veterinary Hospital. Our vets are trained in caring for dogs and cats.
We do not offer grooming or boarding.
Heather, your visit will be for the current vaccinations that your dog would get in this next visit, no worries about missed shots. If your dog is in good health, I would not worry as far as regular check ups they are reasonable, they love All our fur babies and I would just do it, you will be glad you did. I recently 2 weeks ago had to put my 17 yrs old cat to sleep it was hard but she had a good life.
Not sure about a cat. Just call and ask.
The Dakin Shelter on Union Street has discount programs for people who receive government assistance. if you have masshealth or food stamps, call them and ask
I think they are closed for the night. But otherwise I would say yes they could help.
I would call Dakin on Union St in Springfield they help people with minimal funds.....I got my Chihuahuas spayed and neutered for $20 each....I don't know what is happening with ur dog but its definately worth checking out if he needs to see a doctor.....Good luck!!!!
This is for questions about the East Springfield Veterinary clinic...not a spot to ask about your pet. I would try their Facebook page. Or email.
You might want to call and ask to no for sure
See your vet, most likely she's also dehydrated
Best animal hospital I have ever used. Period
Doug...you definitely should make an appointment. Dr. Hersman and his team are amazing. Fyi a grain free diet helps many dogs with skin issues.
