Most places charge you for just an examination, they don't. That's huge! You can get an assessment of what your pet may need and sometimes it's something they can help with and meds are way cheaper.

You have to pay for any medicine or shots needed but they are a reduced price then that of a regular vet. Just walking in and getting him looked at is free. If you find yourself short on cash(like i was once) they'll either have you go to a nearby atm or have you come back with the money at another time. By the sound of it your dog might need some more help than they can provide, though I still recommended you try going to them. I hope everything works out for you and your dog!
