I believe it's $5 per person, but that includes the elevator ride to the top. Well worth the cost. You can walk the grounds for free.
I was born and raised in southern VT,and have yet been inside the monument,I have walked the grounds and visited the Bennington Battlefield in Wallomsac NY several times,in my opinion any visit is time well spent!
Whatever the cost is to go up, do it! It is amazing! The view is fantastic and it is so neat to see 4 different states!

I'm not sure what their hours are but likely daytime. The only cost was to go up the tower, which i believe was $5 per person.
