If I register a four wheeler now, will I have to register it again in January ?

NYS DMV: "When you register a new or used ATV for the first time, your registration will expire each year on August 31. Registrations for ATVs originally registered before April 1, 2005, will continue to expire each year on April 30."

I have never registered mine a d have no interest or intension of doing so now. NYS is always just looking to for a way to take advantage of all of us.
